Phew ..I only had two days of posts to catch up on and it's taken me absolutely ages.....the sunny weather has sent me up the allotment and I have done very little flying ( although I did do two hours of ironing this afternoon...which has persuaded me that it's much much nicer to do the ironing half hours!)
Rach ~ just wanted to say that I have PCOS, was diagnosed over thirty years ago , and that they know so much more about it now and there are lots of different treatments available. I know it's a shock to find out you have something that may impact your infertility, but it's a big " may" ....even though my PCOS is severe, I have three children...not the football team we originally wanted, but still plenty enough to mess up the house and dent our income
If you fancy it have a look at www.SoulCysters.com it's a really good site covering everything to do with PCOS, wish it had been around when I was first diagnosed ( mind you there were no such things as home computers then:o )
Big hugs to you, and if you ever fancy chatting more about it, send me a pm.
Off to bed for me now, good night to you all.........0 -

Hello all
Long but good day - work (we had a good turn out for our events) followed by lunch with our volunteers then my godson's 7th birthday party. Took me 2 hours to get home which was a pain but I got home to find DH had washed all the floors and blitzed the studyhe's being fab at the moment. He also backed up my laptop and apparently the keyboard is working again!
thanks for all the advice etc. I know it's not a definite fertility risk, it was just a big shock after yrs of drs not listening. I am definitely going to chat to my gp - I need to know if my current pill is the best choice etc. I also need to seriously get on with losing weight!
froddy - hope you're ok. pm me if you want to talk about it xxMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
That's good Rach - you needed, and deserved a good day, after your shock.
My mate (not PCOS) told me last night she has decided (after years of gynae trouble) - fibroids all the time I think - to have a hysterectomy.
I know she is sad not to be a mum...
she has hung on until she became over 40 but her brother has 5 kids (and probably more to come as he is independantly wealthy but that's another story) and I know she is really hurting and I just do not know what to say to her...
She had ops before but refused the hysterectomy as it would be so final - we were in hosptial at the same time - me having given birth to DS and her having had a massive fibroid removed...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I'm off to bed now - started watching a film (The Kingdom) but didn't really get into it so I'll send that one back.
Thanks for all the hugs and I may well PM someone if things don't look up in the morning - don't want to waste another day!

Sweet dreams Froddy
hope to goodness you don't have the nightmarish M&S one I had last night - they were sacking me (like I work for them) and the shop floor was cleared and I was waiting for a telling off when these MASSIVE doors opened (a whole ROW of them?) and there was stirring music playing - no-one in sight then
I woke up!

I've only ever seen plastic ones in which case you should be very worried that a) your rabbits feel the need to eat it (more food required) and b) that they can eat it (superbunnies that will magically grow enormous in the night and eat you).
They are just bored occasionally.. they are the fattest bunnies ever so the last thing they need is more food.. but they have scoffed all the front of it then they poop in it then tip it out... like flushing their poo tray!!
It is a plastic one... I will get them some new toys as well.. and I am getting them an outdoor run.. maybe invest in a dog pen.. so they can see the sky!
They have some woody things to chew but obviously they want a change of colour scheme and the blue poo tray HAS to be replaced with a red one! If they have pink I'll get the boys thatLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
