Hi all. Decided delegation not all its cracked up to be, DH not getting the point at the mo, and I'm exam marking, so notalot is getting done.

    *sigh*

ETA Dusty we only have the aga to cook on, also, are we mad turning it down?!

Rosepink you sound good, Devon time is when people say "in a minute" and they actually mean in a fortnight or so...

    Afternoon

Morrison's shop done. Took DS3 and got him to add on a calculator what we were putting in the trolley- wanted £30 to us my coupon but not more. Found a couple of TMFs as well so that was good. Amazed at how many kids misbehave in shops, DS said to me why are they doing that.

DS2 put shopping away, dinner cooking now and kids outside. Now need to do a few online shops later and get the probate stuff in the post.

Rach always good to get positive feedback bet you went home with a spring in your step.

Thanks Sarah congratlations on the CRB i passed mine too and the 99 point check thingy and i am just a parent governor but i too can get a job working with kids. Will save me some money having to do it myself.

I think you have to be re-checked for each separate activity, or at least, thats what the vicar told me!

This is true, it's ridiculous and a complete waste of money, but I suppose it means you can't fake one.

I've done some washing up (need to do more, only did what we needed for dinner) and have hung out the washing. DH has gone out for the evening (reluctantly as he wanted to stay in and watch football, but he had to take his mum out) so I have the TV to myself this evening and can watch the Apprentice! Yay!

AnW’s Love the definition of a round tuit

Congratulations to Flower’s DH and I hope you are better soon Flower

Sunnygirl that’s fantastic news about your DH’s job!

Glamazon that’s great about your job

    Hugs Kazwookie

SarahS I’ve missed the news on your job. Yey!!! :j:j:j What is it and when do you start?
    Mummyof5 -Happy Birthday
    Quillion - Happy Anniversery
    Hex – hugs xx
Anwsmum – It’s not daft. I think it’s a huge step putting them in the attic (((hugs))) xx
Lilysue – although I love detective/crime series, I boycotted this one. I am sick of Martin Shaw. I was very cross when they replaced Roy Marsden with him in the PD James’ ‘Adam Dalgleish’ I’ll look out for the books instead. Oh, and your mum is right. There was an article in the Guardian a few weeks ago. Midlothian (where I live) is one of the best places for pensioners to live. I think my mum and dad would agree ;)

Valli/anwsmum – I’ve never heard of a round tuit. I thought it was a foreign language :rotfl:
Serena – OMG!!!!! They are the most fabulous things ever!!!!:T
Sunnygirl – well done to DH :T
Glamazon – you are doing really well on the debt reduction. WTG :T

Sounds like everyone is having grotty weather. We had hailstones here last night. Can anyone match that? Toots? Crafty? I have had to put my heating on in the living room much to my disgust!

DD is making tea, so I can run around and catch up on my list :D

    5. [/STRIKE]
Have done loads more as well but figure that will count towards tomorrow and Friday's lists!!

paybacktime - My house smells so much nicer too just keeping on top of it! It's really helped my OCD as I don't need to check around the clutter to make sure things are off. Plus less clutter, less fire hazard :o

Skintscotslass - THANKS!! It's not really a debt just money I borrowed off my Dad when I moved into my new house. :D
I promised I would pay it back just like a loan so I do. Might reduce the payments a bit when baby comes along but he won't notice - I pay it into an ISA for him!
Am annoyed that I wasn't more MSE when we moved in - between May 08 and January 09, I probably could have paid most of it back but I didn't so am trying now and to save up for my maternity fund.

Will be updated soon with even more when I get paid!!!

right waiting for OH then can put tea on and relax while he watchs footy!

For my lifestyle yes! How much have you turned it down? Are you still using the hotplates? If you are the ovens will be quite inefficent. I do turn mine down a bit but only because I find the AGA itself gets too hot in summer and burns things but I turn it down so that the thermometer line is still where it should be. How long have you had yours? Do you always turn it down? Why have you done so?

Dinner done, sainsbury online shop nearly done, just need to work out what I'm cooking so I have all the right ingredients.
