Have just made flapjacks with my old museli...we'll see how they turned out. DD2 'helped'...needless to say the kitchen looked like it hadn't been touched this week!!!!! They're just in the oven so they've got enough time to bake then we'll go and get DD1 from sports camp and head over to the IL's for tea.

Forgot to tell you our good news.....DH has got a permanent job!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

He's been working for a company via an agency for the last 3 years and has never been taken on...just the way the company works....they tend to take lots of temporary staff and its quite hard to be taken on permanently. Anyway, he's also asked for more money than he's on now and he's got it! Just waiting for a start date for him now. Phew!!! That's a relief. Although he was most likely where he is now until January, technically they could finish him today with no notice so at least there's some security now.

Will get going and get sorted for going to the IL's. Think I'll clean the bath and the bathroom floor in advance then the bathroom will be more or less done for the week too as I already did the loo and the sink. Need to get a bit ahead as I've got 2 extras for the afternoon tomorrow.

    See you later. x

Brilliant news Sunnygirl - make sure you celebrate!

The film was good but I did prefer the first one - isn't that always the way. We got home and our lovely postie had left a parcel for us with the neighbours....Tootles.....Stripes says 'woof, woof, waggy tail, woof' which translates as 'thankyou so much, they're sooooooooo tasty and, you're right, I never get fed here, infact i'm neglected!' Thanks for the tape for my dad too, you're a total star.

Flying...erm....I put the packaging from the parcel that arrived to be recycled! xx

Hi there, I'm very new to this genius creation, and the answer is probably on here somewhere, so please forgive me. I can't access the Flylady site. Has it closed down? If so, congrats on keeping up the good work. If not, can anyone direct me? Many thanks

............. packed some of DH's clothes ready to go in the loft. Just can't bear to part with them, I know it's daft as someone else could get the benefit but just can't do it. It's a major step being able to pack some of them up, but I feel quite calm about it all.

I know how hard this is, when my mother died, last year, she was in a nursing home, and they kindly packed every thing up for us, very neatly, labels all the boxes as to what was in what box, and the owner even delivered them to my brother's house, it was then it hit us, my SIL and I spent hours working out what to do with various items, as we didn't want to upset mum, seems daft now (in an odd sort of way) looking back as she won't know what we decided. (sorry I really don't think I have expalined this very well)

A big hug to you and well done for taking such a hugh step.
