I had a lovely time at the geocache event yesterday chatting with new and old faces. I had lunch then went off to find some caches in the area (10 for the day). After all that walking I was pooped. I worked on the kitchen and had a just about midnight bed time. Today I have worked on the kitchen and living room and got it presentable enough in time for the boiler man and LandL. Then this afternoon I made meatballs and tom sauce for the freezer. I must have pealed 60 toms but it was worth the effort. It tastes heavenly. I am going to finish the kitchen tonight before bed then work on the LR.
The work will wait for you to finish showing the LOs the rainbow, but the rainbow would not wait for you to finish the work.

Justamum - and Valli - just because something is a .org doesn't actually mean it's a charity, it could just be an organisation. The best way to check out if some org really is a charity is to go to http://www.charity-commission.gov.uk/ and search the register to see if they are there. ANYONE can take out a .org or .org.uk (I know, I have several!)

would I be right in thinking then it's a non-profit organisation if not a registered charity?

It probably is a legitimate non-profit making organisation if it's not a registered charity. I've done a quick two minute bit of research and they seem legit.

What I was trying to get across was that anyone can register a .org or .org.uk domain name without any checks being made by the registrar. You could, actually (and I've just checked - it's not taken!) take out https://www.valli.org.uk right now if you wanted to.

Washing up has been done. Equilibrium is definitely restored. I'm off to bed.

It's nearly time to make elderflower cordial, if you have never done this before it is so much fun and produces fantastic results. See this thread:

Toots you will be so please with me i have done nothing all day.

I went to see the district nurse to have my cut checked and when she removed the butterefly stitch it opened up again and some gunk oozed out. Some sort of fluid. She said it was ok but needed to be redressed. I asked her about another butterfly stitch and she said no it is beyond that now it won't work.

She dressed it with an iodine gauze thing and a waterproof dressing which i have to leave on for another week.

She asked me if i had been resting and i said yes and no just doing a bit of cleaning and she said NO MORE CLEANING REST !!!!

I had to go to town to the bank then i came home put on my pj's and did nothing. DH cut grass made the tea and put ds to bed.

It is my Wedding Anniversary tomorrow i usually cook a meal so that will be fun!!

Maybe will treat him to a takeaway he has put up with me for 14 years.

For whatever your reason know that your Gran would be pleased and pround of you today xxxx

God Bless everyone and Take Care.

    Morning all

Sorry I didn't get on last night! I was lateish home from worked and then cooked tonight's tea as well as last nights and spoke to my mum. Then DH and I watched night at the museum - quite funny even if not believeable!

Just getting ready to head for work, came in to print postage. I will catch up tonight as DH's mate is round to watch the football - good chance for me to fly and catch up on here!

I should be able to get a star for yesterday and today as it was all done at the weekend so a quick once over should do.

Better run, need to leave in 10 and my hair and teeth need brushing!!
