Valli ~ keep meaning to post this, I was born in 1961....suspect I'm probably older than you, I've come somewhat late to flying :D

Rosepink ~ thanks, I'll tell my aunt and cousin you're enjoying the series, they love to get feedback.

Feeling fragile this morning, ds1 had a funny head/tummy bug at the weekend, think he may have shared it with me:(.....good job he is better now as he has his driving test this morning

So just to update my yesterdays list:

Tuesday twinkles! - Living room, hall and stairs! DONE! :j:j:j

Think I will let myself have a little bit more computer time as I'm feeling under the weather, my Mum has decided we would all be better off moving to Scotland ( she has decided they look after elderly people better there) so I had a look at property online for her last night, it's a good game to play even though I know that by next week she will have changed her mind again :D

oh goodness me! I have a wedding acceptance to send so I just looked (in my PC paper trays drawer thing) for the posh A4 paper. In there there is an envelope which says Job List - inisde, probably written by DS aged 6/7 a list (he's 15 now)

    it says

    clean bathroom
    clean cat tray
    clean kitchen
    bank account
    phone Denise

(I have to do all those today too!)
(and a few other bit which would suggest we were preparing for a family celebration) - oh I wish I had dated it!

    Morning!!! Or rather, Bonjour!!!

I had a lovely day yesterday, but I'm so tired this morning! It rained all morning, but stopped while we were having a delicious lunch in the same restaurant that we went to in February. So, we could wander around the town and the shops in the sun in the afternoon, and then have massive shop in Auchan before heading home.

I had some lovely presents as well, and am totally thrilled because DD has booked me a ticket to see James Morrison at the cricket ground at the end of June. I knew that she and BF were going, and was vaguely regretting that I hadn't asked her to get me one too - I'm, not a particular fan, but love live music/dance/theatre etc.

I had an earlyish start this morning, as the landscaper came to fix the trellis on the top of the back fence - I'm hoping it will keep most of the mad cat lady's cats out of my garden. (I don't mind cats, just not in my garden, and especially not after they took the four blackbird nestlings at the weekend). Really need a coffee now!

Toots - I was visualising too on Monday. And step away from that kitchen!!!:eek:at your electrician's bill. He should have given you a written quotation so you didn't get any nasty shocks. It will be worth the little extra wait to get it just how you want though - what is the next bit that you want to be done?

    mammamia and dusty - hugs.

valli - I bought something in France that I think you'll love...:D I'll try and post a pic later (ie, get DS1 to do it when he wakes up).

And - a transparently pathetic attempt at relevance - I have put a load of washing in...;)

I thought I was losing the plot then checked and realised I had read this before.

Nicki - you cannot do this two days running

Do we need to do a concerted nag???

Its okay - my assignment is due tomorrow, come Friday night (another one due in on Friday  ) I'll sleep like a log. I've gotten by on much less sleep when I was at uni and my course then involved alot of manual labour ;) I'll have a big lie in on Saturday morning, and an early night as well. I seem to work better on less sleep and lots of coffee & a very close deadline - 25 hours and counting! Off to do HHS ;)
