taken from the t&c for their general savings accounts ;)

I found them terrible to deal with when DH died, demanding probate for £600  I refuse now to have anything else to do with them on point of principle.

ETA seems to be the same with all account types. Remember if you have an ISA you want to transfer then DON'T close it you lose the tax benefits, tell your new provider that you want to transfer and they should initiate the request ;)

Thanks... handy that, for an internet account! I'm slowly moving over to ethical banking, so have now moved my savings to Triodos, so need to close this. My ISAs are all over the place, but I'm slowly moving them! I just need to summon up the energy to move my current account.

Obvious weeding/tidying done in garden (dead bits of passionflower & clematis; vast amounts of bindweed). Back lawn mowed... It's humid here too... the garden needs some serious attention, but I'm not quite sure how I'm going to fit it in. I either used to have more time or more energy... or both!

Off to find supper and sort out food for tomorrow. And maybe get started on the kitchen...

    Count me in for 9pm

Did a bit of baking today as ds off school all wek and thought i wwould make not buy the treats. Want to get into this more and more so today i did
    10 fruit scones
24 fairy cakes but froze 12 to get out during the week. I can put buttercream in when they have defrosted.

At the christening yesterday the caterers had made their own buns. My SIL's brother came up to me and said these buns are not as nice as the ones you made for our brads party Jo i was quite pleased with myself.

Valli does your school not do the Rags R Us collection. We got about £175.00 for our collection last week.

We had a movies afternoon today and watched Night at the Museum ds informed me i had to close the curtains and turn the tv up loud. He had a little box of sweeties and he thought it was great. I did have a little nap during the film though but mum was here so that wasn't so bad.

I may just well stay in bed after our Toots time tonight as i will have relaxed down and may not feel like getting up. Will have to see.

Hugs to all and LL you are next honey.

After a productive start this morning, we were then out between 11ish and 4ish so we lost the focus a bit. We got loads in costco and just bunged it all in the kitchen so i need to spend some of tonight sorting that, just need DH to help as it is splitting meat up into portions, so he can weigh it and i will put it in the bags and load the freezer. Think i will then menu plan for the next month.

Didn't need to water the plants as the rain did that for us, ;)
