so sorry to read about your bad pay news DT - just got time to come on the laptop after a busy 48 hours (gasp! withdrawal!). it couldn't have come at a worse time, but there have been some good suggestions for you so fingers crossed. you're a resourceful woman, i have faith that all will be okay!

for the record, i didn't think you were american. or otherwise foreign...although i didn't know the brum bit. i thought that welsh would be the language barrier, but still don't know why your mum is a mom :rotfl:

very odd about the passports. try *not* looking for a few days - things seem to turn up when you don't need them, iykwim. xxx ttb

What a mystery.
So we don't think they made it back to the drawer.

Last place you had them for definite was at customs.

Did you get a taxi home from Airport?
Phone the airport and ask if you left them there...if you haven't got them registered to your address then they can't be sent back to you.
Can you remeber what you both wore including coats,cardis etc? and what luggage bags were used?

This mystery will be solved.

I like the not looking idea because I am definitely looked out. I don't know why Mum is Mom either but she always has been to me perhaps its a brummie thing

Going to have a finance sorting out tomorrow so I can see where I stand debtwise want to get some paperwork up todate and then I will see what I can do to up our income also need to change my sig and make some realistic targets because failing the present targets doesn't feel good so feel I need to readjust my challenges so that I at least have a chance of some success if that makes sense.

Internet is so slow tonight that I keep freezing on bingo so I am not going to be making any money there either it is so frustrating.

There are so many people playing bingo tonight that the chances of winning are slim to none!

We too are looking for passports - OH's has been missing for several months now - he took it for his CRB check, but can't remember what he did with it after that.......DS took his to the building society to get a new passbook, definitely brought it home, but it doesn't appear in the cupboard where it belongs.....

We have searched and searched, but no sign of them during the grand declutter yet.

First to find their passports gets virtual jaffa cakes.....

I know where my passport is (I think!) and I'd like to nominate my camera, lost somewhere inside the house, so I have a chance of winning the virtual jaffa cakes too....

I know where MY passport is - and DD's is at the Chinese Embassy still, or wherever it is that is sorting out their Visas.....but DS and OH have both lost theirs.

I will not be happy if I have to pay for replacements, so will continue the search for a while.

I know where MY passport is but the camera challenge is acceptable - although I must admit I have looked so hard already I think I had better start stocking up on jaffa cakes :rolleyes:

Double Trouble I believe your the bingo person to go to I have managed to get 16.50 of bonus money on one of the sites I use for the scratch cards, any ideas how to make money out of it once I have claimed my next 10 ? Just play through it on the bingo ?

Hi DT. Finally, managed to catch up with your thread. The pay news is really pants. I hate these times when i can't offer anything useful to say. Obviously i hope you find a way to manage without having to struggle too much xx

Just had to add - i say 'mom'. Most people i know pronounce it this way. It aggravates the hell out of me that schools make children spell 'mum' when that's not how they say it!! I know...My name's Hopeful1 and i'm very sad...lol :rolleyes:
