Hey DT!!!! You're very, very famous, then! But my god, those numbers are big. OTOH, you sound like you know *exactly* what you're doing. And you must be a whizz at juggling, with that number of people in the household. Good luck to you!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hi all - you have one big challenge but sounds like you have a plan! Good luck!
We want to tackle our mortgage soon too - if I got a perm job I would prioritise my mortgage above my CC as it is a higher apr but at the mo my job starting Tues is initially only for 6 months so think I will prioritise my CCs.... This will keep the min repayments down in the event I don't get another job straightaway
At the moment we are on a fixed rate mortgage at 5.95% but we could overpay a bit not sure how much. It has another year or so to run before we could change it.... I am trying to pay off our CCs by May 2010 if poss and then start on a mortgage (after saving for and going on an expensive holiday!)
Best of luck!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

4) FI Age 60 income target £16.5/30K 55.1%

Sounds like a good plan to me but if in 6 months time your job becomes permanent perhaps you could join the MFiT -T2 challenge the more the merrier.

No idea how you do it. I thought I was not bad at juggling however I bow before you. Granny patrol and respite carer and baby fosterer and mum to 3 yr old twins and Uganda and commander-in-chief of the rest of the slightly more grown up ones and a business!! That's a lot of "and"s. :T
I am sooooooooo lazy in comparison. You'll storm thro the debt and have replaced Alan Sugar by end of year.
A favourite initiative here is to suggest Avon for your "spare time" but I expect the book may be shoved where the sun don't shine :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -

Is that really me? nope must be somebody else:rotfl:

That would be why I have spent all day on the laptop reading diaries etc I blame it on my cold but you could just say couch potato

OK now I have to add to my goals get off the couch and on to the wii fit but as I have a cold - tomorrow (actually cold is improving) so I must do this tomorrow just doesn't feel right starting on a Sunday - Monday seems a good start day to me.
And I couldn't do any of the above juggling without my DH who as I type is cooking tea and who really spoils me:A
