I wept when I read your post last night DT. Nothing we do or say can ease your pain, but as F_F said, we are a family here and all love you and are thinking of you.

I know you have strong faith and hopefully that will get you all through Monday and beyond. Take care xxxx

My daughters went to a school friends funeral where each and every child attached a message to their friend to the tail of a white helium balloon. At the end of the ceremony they released these balloons to keep their friend company on their journey to heaven. It allowed them to draw or write their thoughts and have happy memories of the day they said goodbye. Its one of the few times I've smiled at a funeral, although it was the most painful funeral I have ever been to.

Thanks for your messages kind friends I am able to read them a little bit better today.

The balloons had been suggested to us Moo but Laura has decided that she wants to let off chinese lanterns on Monday night and we will be able to write messages on them too I am sure it will be a very poignant moment. We are also going to scatter rose petals over the grave as her middle name was Rose wrong time of the year sadly for cherry blossom but we are going to plant a cherry tree in her memory. We are hoping to have a quiet weekend as it has been a rollercoaster of a week with several unexpected upsetting things happening and in two cases entirely preventable which knocked us all for six but we are surviving.

    Love to you all

There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!

Those are some lovely ideas, Mandy, writing on a Chinese lantern and the scattering of the rose petals. A quiet weekend would be very good for you, I'm sure, Monday will be enough of an ordeal without extra exhaustion on top of what you must already be suffering.

I'm so sorry to hear you've had extra upsetting things going on - I'm appalled at the thought you've had things like that to deal with as well.

We're here for you, with love.
