I've been putting off coming over here and leaving a message.

The reason being that you guys left me such lovely posts after DS was born that it upset me to read them even though you were all so nice.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Cherry will be safe with the angels and I'm sure she will be patiently awaiting the day you are all reunited. She will be the perfect addition to heaven. Her memory will never be a distant one but I cannot imagine the unbearable pain you are all in just now.

I can feel my eyes starting to well up so I'm going to go now.

DT, I don't post, but I do read as much as I can. I read that and my face dropped. I don't know what to say ,nor can I comprehend what you and your family must be feeling right now. Try and be strong, but if you can't just know we're all here being strong for you.

I hope you don't think I'm intruding at this difficult times, we've been on Taxi's thread.

I have put this poem on, it was given to my mum when she lost her 1st daughter, she was 18mths old and passed away with cancer.

GODS LENT CHILD

I'll lend you for a little while
A child of mine, God said.
For you to love the while she lives
And mourn for whens he's dead.

It may be six or seven months
or forty-two or three.
But, will you, 'til I call her back,
Take care of her for me?

She'll bring his charms to gladden you
And should her stay be brief,
You'll have her lovely memories
As a solace for your grief..

I can not promise she will stay
Since all from Earth returns,
But there are lessons taught below,
I want this child to learn.

I've looked the whole world over
In my search for teacher's true.
And from the things that crowd life's lane
I have chose you.

Now will you give her all your love?
Nor think the labour vain?
Nor hate me when I come to take
This lent child back again?

I fancied that I heard them say
Dear Lord, thy will be done.
For all the joys thy child will bring
The risk of grief we'll run.

We will shelter her with tenderness,
We'll love her while we may.
And for all the happiness we have known
Forever grateful stay.

But should thy angel call for her,
Much sooner than we planned
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes
