Is it just me or are Royal Mail getting worse??! I'm waiting on 3 items from ebay just now, one that I bought on 9th May, one that I bought on 11th may & one that I bought last Sunday (all of which were posted 1st class). I've pointed out to the sellers that the 1st 2 haven't made it here, but havent said anything about the 3rd yet. But its a bit much that 2 (possibly 3) things have gone missing. I'm being patient though, once the sellers posted it theres not much they can do! Hope you get it sorted out without anymore grief from your buyer!! x.•

I'd be very tempted to do what a seller recently did to me- ignore the paypal claim until the very last day of communication, then put in a nonsense tracking number. This confuses paypal, and it takes them forever to decide.
Took me 2 months from opening the dispute to getting my money back in my account.
It will affect your buyer satisfation rating though, and they will almost definitely leave you a neg, so probably not worth it.This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

im seeing mainly 1-2 days for 1st class mail/packets
sad i know but i generally keep an eye on the dates as i go0 -
Ebay would be so much easier without buyers. Then all of us sellers could just use ebay as a way to show how much stuff we like to keep on a shelf.
<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
I've got one at the moment, who is also a seller, who bought something BIN and then mailed me so say that they were waiting for funds to clear into their account.
7 days later I open a dispute for NPB and they go apoplectic.Terms & Conditions Apply0 -

1-2 days is what I'd expect for 1st class. I bought an item on Wednesday & received it Friday, yet i still haven't received the other things. I know the postie, I've had the same one for at least 5 years now, he's a lovely guy, so I don't think it's him, I just don't understand where they've gone! lol.•

Thanks for you responses guys thing is I posted other items (only clothes not mega valueable at all) to other ebayers at exactly same time and they have both received their items, so I'm beginning to wonder if this is a dodgy buyer who claims they havent recieved items when they have so that they get both the item & their money back!0

Seller protection on paypal requires sellers to send within 7 days, so any buyer should expect to take that into account before considering their item 'lost'.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It's always a good idea to get them to check with the local delivery office to see if there are any packets there for them. Some posties hate writing out shut notices, or they run out on their delivery, get soaked in their pocket so they can't write on them, many excuses, I've heard them all from posties, but the majority of them are sound. It would surprise many people to see how few things go missing in the grand scale of things, it does happen, but not to the extent that people think. And then of course there's the dodgy ebay buyers....4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0
