I've found them very good. Both support and connection.

I would go with the unlimited one but my line only supports 6mb so paying for 16mb seems abit of a waste, is there a way to get unlimited broadband but for 8mb?

You may be paying for unlimited 16mbps and only getting mid 8mbps but at least you get unlimited downloads. If you are outwith your broadband 12 month contract then you can change to mid and get a 40gb download allowance.

Just found out on Sky's Website that i can only get there SKY Connect package (broadband & talk) tv isn't a problem. But they want £17 compared to the Mid pack on there website for £5. Just because i live like about 200 yards from where they say im outside there local area LOL

Have you asked them if they can do you an offer on the broadband if you also take the phone with it aswell? Have you called them up or only checked online?

sorry forgot to write back. About a hour ago , i was talking to their online customer assistance, and the women on there said she would drop the broadband from £17 to £10 , which is good. But i'm going to phone Sky up themselves tomorrow, Because i want the broadband for the £5 the advertised for the other pack.

At the moment our broadband & phone costs on average (depending on phone use) about £35 a month
    > 8MB Unlimited Broadband & Tiscali Talk II - £15
    > Phone Line Rental - £10
With VAT works out at £30 a month

Then Phone Calls on top gives about £35 - £40 a Month

On there website , They are enticing Tiscali Customers to sign up with them. So when i phone up i might get a better deal on the phone.

I'm on Sky for everything (telly, BB, phone). People say Murdoch this, Murdoch that.

It works. Customer Services are good. That's all I want.

I have to say, that's not been my experience. But then again, I've not had to ring them for ages. I've certainly had those sort of experiences with other companies.

When Orange took over Wanadoo, the service went down the pan overnight.
