Hi
I don't know if I've followed the instructions properly on how to unlock a mobile (probably not!).
I'm currently on a contract (which I'm quite happy with having looked at the Which link) and have a Nokia phone on O2. My daughter has just bought a new phone (PAYG) and I would like to use her old phone (PAYG). Her old phone is an LG one on T-Mobile. I went onto one of the unlocking websites (which MSE suggests you do first - didn't know the bit then about not trying to do it too many times - think I did it 3 or 4 times). I'm not sure if it didn't work because the LG phone won't accept an O2 SIM card, or it was user error! Also the IMEI code inside the phone was 2 x digits less than when I typed the *# etc code into the phone.
I put in the IMEI code for the LG phone, but wasn't asked the network (which I assume would have been O2 - ie, my existing network).
Any help would be much appreciated!
