Tesco voucher codes DISCUSSION ONLY! Thread 2

Just signing up to the Tesco entertainment site now to order this, will it create a virtual clubcard for me automatically? don't know my clubcard number as have only ever bought online!

Quick question - I do a home delivery grocery shop every month; when I look in the Special Offers section it has the different offers, e.g, Half Price, BOGOF etc, but in Extra Points it always says there are no offers, even when I have seen products with extra points that same log in!!!

Any ideas???

Grr at tesco direct i find them so hard to order with online. I have in the past ordered stuff before i got married and had trouble with logging in, trouble with the clubcard not going through etc etc. Come the change of my name it seemed to get worse with me spending ages on the phone a few weeks back trying to sort it out as it seemed the name change hadn't gone through but the clubcard had therefore my bank card wouldn't let me order with them as the name didnt match so nothing had worked and we got no points we thought we had. I have just ordered a couple of things and again a pain in the bum, the password i had and changed again wouldn't work so i had to redo all that, the code i had didn't work and the clubcard is again saying 'used by another account holder'..yeah me!..so i have spent the best part of an hour doing a simple order with no points or discount.
Does anyone else have this or is it just me..when i rung i was told each time i place an order a new number is given to me anyway so we effectively have numerous clubcards running anyway? i never understood this as, as far as i am aware i only have 1 in my wallet?

Although you only have one physical card, probably when you did your first order, you didn't quote that no - so the system makes up a 'virtual' card no, then you have a name change, so the system makes up another one!
Did you also have a change of address? The 'system' doesn't like it when the postcodes are different!

Otherwise, I surprised a new no on every order.
Nevertheless, Clubcard should be able to trace all these 'clubcards' you have - quote current postcode, and any other previous postcodes, with your maiden name and married name. Or if your have an unusual name maybe just surname and first/Christian name.
And having found these other no's amend details to agree and merge them and your physical card no together.

Really fed up that none of the Tesco codes actually work :-(

GRRR! Having just spent hours creating a order online so as I could use my voucher for £7 off £70 valid from 14/06 to 04/07 and a free delivery one and when I get to the checkout it says my voucher is only valid until the 27/06/10, I tried the one valid for 05/07 to 18/07 and it says it's valid until the 27th as well. Not happy!

Hi all

I have two questions that I would be most grateful for your help with.

Firstly I cannot get any of the codes on this site to work when I do my grcery shopping (I make sure that I have adheared to the T+C's) any ideas why this may be?

Secondl where do you find the codes? I am registered with Tesco's and as far as I know have set it up so that I receive emails etc from them, but have never had a single email

Thanks Browntoa, unfortunately I have tried the codes on many occasions and always seem to get an error message. Just wondered if the the OP's received them in emails etc?
