I had a £5 off code from Tesco as an apology for messing up, one of the ones that is your phone number and a letter. I couldn't get it to work so called them and the lady said "oh yes we are having lots of problems with codes, people keep putting them on some money saving website" :rotfl:

I tried to sound suitabley shocked that anyone could do such a thing.

    Quick question...

I used a code last week (glad i did as i couldn't get any to work the other day) for delivery tonight. It seemed to work though.

But i've been changing my order loads so going back through checkout and there's no mention of the £10 deduction, does that mean it's not there anymore or does the guide price not deduct the discount?
  • Hello

Sorry if this has been asked elsewhere, I have searched but cannot find it.

Do Tesco EXPRESS take newspaper MOC's, printable MOC's, farmfoods etc?

And do they take them for items that you havn't bought?

    Thanks

    Matt

    Hi all,

No doubt this has been raised time and time again, so sorry if I've missed posts, but here goes ...

I've "banked" a number of £10 codes recently and a few £5 ones for Tesco.com online shopping. Although they appear OK when I bank them, they're always a problem when I come to pay and, invariably, have to remove them all before my shop is accepted.

This never used to happen  Do people just accept this, or ring Tesco to try to get them re-instated. The last thing I want to do is put the codes posted in jeopardy by helping to make it obvious we all share them (though I've no doubt they're aware of this!) icon11.gif

    Hi All,

I used to have codes work for me every time but the last few months have not been able to use any at all. It is a computer glitch (Ihear about people needing to "clear cookies" whatever that means?) or does this happen to lots of people??

    Thanks,
    Allison.

This happened to me last week and has just happened again with my order that I am just doing! Last week I phoned up and was told it was a problem with their end and the codes. She told me to ring once I had my delivery and they would deduct it then (£10 off code). I rang and had no problem....not sure whether to ring again though as it clearly says with this code £10 off first shop on my checkout bit of my order and it's far from my first shop!!! :rotfl:

Just rung again was told if it's not my first shop then I can't the code so that told me! :(

Strange that it banks them all though then throws it back at the last bit of checkout :cool:
