Hi, this might seem a silly question but I cant find a clear answer.

If I spend say £55 in total before multiple buy discounts can I still use the £5 off £50 spend code ? As the real total will be about £40 after the multiples are deducted at delivery and Im scared that I will no longer get the £5 off £50 spend.
thanks for anyone who can enlight me.

the 'real total' as you put it is the one the voucher applies to. if its a £50 spend, you need to have spent £50 regardless of how you end up there.

They canceled my order today and didn't give me a discount code! I knew I should've asked for one; the guy was a bit rude, actually.

Happened to me yesterday and I got the code today, so maybe you'll get it tomorrow :)

Thanks for the tip; did they tell you at the time you would be getting a discount, or did it come unexpectedly? Another delivery was canceled just before Christmas, and they told me a code had been sent but it never came, so I had to call back. I was just now in the process of sending Tesco a terse email asking why I hasn't given a code when a "friend" has been, but I would hold off if your code came even though you weren't told it was on the way.

No they called and canceled, I half expected it as I don't want someone breaking their neck to bring me bread and milk, then later on last night they called (my daughter took the call as I was in the bath) and they were really apologetic, then unexpected this evening I got an e-mail offering me £10 off.

It was unexpected, I never asked. I sent them an e-mail just wanting them to basically put my order through so I got the special offers still that would have expired. (Luckily after looking at it online and being told how to re-order all mine were valid the whole of January anyway).

I think anybody who has had it cancelled and sends an e-mail will get the voucher as it seemed a generic e-mail. To be fair, good on Tesco for that, I mean they can't really do much about the weather and £10 off to all their orders is going to cost. :T

I hope I get it! Especially considering I used a £5 code on the order that was canceled, and it wouldn't let me use it again on the re-order, which doesn't seem fair but how can I complain to them about codes I got online, lol.

Just had my order cancelled and used a code but can't get any other code to work for me to reorder again. might email them and ask them to rearrange delivery of original order, maybe they'll send me a code for new order!;)

The call center staff can apply individual codes to individual accounts... perhaps GRSORRY was a code applied only to your account?

I had an order (between Christmas and New Year) cancelled and the lady who called me was very apologetic - I have never had anything but good customer service from Tesco - and for the inconveniece of having to drive myself to my local Tesco to collect my order I was given 2x £10 and 1x £5 voucher.

Daft thing was, when I went to my Tesco store they had messed-up with all the orders that day so it was not there ready for me to collect. The lady behind customer services gave me a £10 gift card for the inconvenience of having to do my shopping myself instore!

Both times I did not ask for money-back... both times it was offered to me... both times I graciously accepted their apologies and gladly accepted the money-off 'vouchers'.

    Hi,

Can anybody explain how to 'bank' codes for future use ? It was mentioned in a previous thread and someone else asked but I can't find an answer.

    Thanks
