Can someone please tell me is there anywhere on the tesco grocery site that you can put in the free delivery codes before you actually do your shop. It is very annoying when you do the shop and put the code in to discover it doesnt work.

    Thank you

I don't think you can... But if the code has a minimum spend you could add a few expensive things, like huge joints of beef in multiple quantities to get you to that limit faster, then check code and amend basket accordingly.
  • Thanks for answering, Shel, its one thing talking to yourself but posting to yourself on a forum.......lol.

I did see your earlier post but hadn't realised that you meant yours were being rejected after the banking bit I just thought your meant they weren't being accepted in the first place, sorry.

I don't believe it is the web site as such because other people are getting them through, I'm sure there is a glitch on some accounts.

(there was a slight pause there as I went off to rescue my Husband who had spilt coffee granules all over the work top and 'didn't know how to pick them up', yes really!)

I emailed Tesco and they actually rang me last night, quite late in the evening, to ask me if I wanted them to send me another voucher or just knock the £10 off my delivery which I got today. I went for the 2nd offer ;) I can always try and find another code for next time.

I asked them if it would help if I opened another account but they just said they thought it would all be sorted out now. I can't see how as this is the 3rd time it has happened and I'm not sure they really know what they are talking about.

The first time it happened I spoke to a computer 'expert' and they logged into my Tesco account there and then. I had to give them my password which I wasn't totally happy with but then they wanted my bank security password to get through that bit as well and I drew the line there!

If you have to use a clubcard to be able to scan clubcard money vouchers at the till? I've been given £14 of clubcard vouchers,so not in my name,so doesn't match up with name on my clubcard
love my little man he is amazing :j
  • Helen you will need to give up a clubcard but I've never known them check once against the other. Try giving up your card at the start of the shopping then your vouchers at the end.

Paul, I haven't changed my password, I know I should but then I will have to keep remembering the new one - yes, ok, I'll do it now!

Gutted about Tesco's not accepting them. Don't think I'll bother printing off anything else in the voucher code way. Its too much embarassment!! Never mind, will have to find other ways of saving money!!
    Now debt free!! Yey.
Sealed pot challenge in full swing.

I can't swear to it but it might be worth a try. ;)

Can't the person you got them from lend you their card? Keyfob, whatever?

Hi . I am trying to buy something over £50 on tesco.com
I have tried to use a code supplied on the other thread , TD-SHEL , but it says " Sorry, the eCoupon could not be accepted as you do not qualify for this promotion"

What makes your acount relevant for such codes - i dont think Ive used any of them before , so its not that.
