Tesco voucher codes DISCUSSION ONLY! Thread 2

How do people even get these codes? I've signed up to every single newsletter and don't get anything. None of the codes on MSE work for me, annoyingly some work when I input them but won't let me checkout with them. Customer service were very unhelpful.
I had to complete the order as it had taken me an hour to do, but I definitely will not be shopping with them again online until codes start working again. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Anyone else struggling with the "Sorry, there was a problem when trying to confirm your order due to one or more eVouchers being invalid. Please try again, if the problem persists contact customer support" error message?
I banked a £10 off £50 coupon a couple of days ago (XX-CATS) but I can't checkout. Do I keep trying or shop elsewhere? I can get the groceries cheaper at Asda if I can't use the code.0 -
Yes has just happened to me. Id also banked a £10 off voucher the previous week & it wouldnt let me use after Id put my credit card details in. Very annoying!!:mad:0

Ugh, why do none of the codes ever work for me. Really quite annoying.Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0

Does anyone know if it's possible to book a hotel in Brighton using Clubcard Deals?
I just checked the Thistle hotel but in the small print it says that Deals vouchers may not be used at the Brighton Thistle. Anyone know if there are any hotels in Brighton that DO allow Clubcard Deals vouchers?
(would save me trawling through them all if anyone does)
thanks

Does anyone know if Tesco have changed their policy with reagrds to accepting money off coupons.
In the past I have always just handed them whether or not I have brought the actual item, but today they wouldnt accept them saying I hadnt bought that perticular item.
Just wondered if anyone knew if the rules had changed?
Cheers0 -
Hi TITEASCRAMP,
Yes Tesco have changed their policy recently, see this thread:
Updated Printable Money off Coupons & Policies Thread 10 (and chat)
I'll move this over to the discount vouchers board where you should get more replies.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

Yes other hotels do let you use the tesco clubcard points.
We stayed at the Royal Albion. Nicer than the reviews on tripadvisor! Honest but no more than 2 star 'cos of the decor.
Saying that the location is out of this world. We had a view of the pier great at night all lit up.
The Barcelo is also available on the deals but it is very expensive for what it is.
I think some of the other hotel chains take bookings too, but they do get booked up pretty quickly! But if ever I stray from the path I follow
Take me down to the English Channel
Throw me in where the water is shallow And then drag me on back to shore!
'Cos love is free and life is cheap As long as I've got me a place to sleep
Clothes on my back and some food to eat I can't ask for anything more0 -
Hello there
Where is the best place to post a question about holidays and tesco vouchers? I'm completely lacking in inspiration for next year and would like some input! With todays voucher mailing, I now have a running total of about £1200 to spend on a holiday, but I read somewhere that the rules have now changed. Help!0
