Aerial question

I have just moved back into my house after renting it out for several years. We have a TV aerial with booster in the roof, and the reception on all channels was fine when we left. Now we are back, we cannot get a picture in any of the rooms which have an aerial socket.
We see there is a Sky dish on the outside wall which the tenants must have installed - is it possible they have made some adjustment which overrides our aerial?

You need to check to see if the aerial points are still actually connected to the aerial / amplifier.

Unlikely, Sky dosn't use or affect your aerial in anyway. More then likely a unconnected problem that was never noticed because they were not using it.

If the booster was fitted at the aerial,check the power unit. Without power a booster will stop any signal getting through,(Sky boxes work like Video Recorders they have a direct Scart connection and also an RF OUT,which i think is defaulted to ch 68)there is a sneaky way to change the RF if anyone needs it.

Press Services then 4 0 1 select then 4 to get into the RF menu
