Hi everyone - hope the weather has been as beautiful for you as it has down here today. I am rather giddy from the sun, which is MS in itself as I have had one glass of wine tonight and feel like I have had four! ( Don't try this at home kids. It's not big and it is not clever.:o)
1) Went to the jetwash to entertain the kids while OH was at the hospital. Much cheaper than the carwash and did a much better job too!
2) Ate packed lunches on the hoof, inc a 28p reduced sandwich from the shop.
3) SC x 10p twice
4) Bought whoopsied veg and bread from supermarket
5) Got some lovely bargains at the car booty booty that I went to with B.....
i) you may remember that I bought a much needed new purse earlier this week and had to return it? Well today I got a brand new Calvin Klein black leather purse with exactly the number of pockets etc I wanted for 20p!:j:j:jToday the booty Gods were smiling on me!
ii) Got T some Reading Tree books for 20p each to keep up with his newly acquired reading skills. Also clothes for £2, dinosaurs for £1 and some lego bits for 40p.
iii) Got 3 DVDs that I have wanted to see for ages for less than £2 the lot.
iv) A beautiful ceramic mixing bowl for £2 to make my baking more domestic goddess than it currently is.
v) Made B buy everything she fancied out of her pocket money. It is amazing how something a girl really really wants suddenly becomes less desirable when you tell them they have to pay for it themself.
6) Ate the remainders of last night's Chinese for dinner.
7) I've just seen my 3 ebay listings go for the minimum asking price. But hey-ho - I get so many lovely things for such a cheap price I must look on it as good bargain karma!!
8) Watched Night at the Museum on TV with the family for free entertainment. We are going to see the sequel at the cinema tomorrow with free tickets so that was good timing. Thanks Channel 4!
I am going to potter about a bit then go to bed with my library book in anticipation of a lovely sunny day tomorrow.
See you then, L x0 -
Hello!!
I can't believe we are still only on second page. I have been rushing around today but bike has been collected, car filled, shopping done, animals seen, cats fed and dog walked.
I just have to share this with you but I was just on the phone with my mystery man whom I will see tomorrow and he sounded really nice. I am sooooo excited!!!"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."
