    A few things - rescued a few magazines off the flight I got off the other night (with work) which got me £10 worth of magazines which I'm still working my way through now;
Got new car insurance through Quidco so get £45 on top of the cheaper insurance!
Have to claim the remainder of my tax disc which will get me about £60 and the DVLA have 28 days to send me this.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

Hi Sans, so nice to see you back, was wondering where you had gone. Hope all is ok with you.

Hope your feeling better Urg and enjoying the bank holiday weekend.

Not much for me today, its so lovely to finally be able to not do long lists and enjoy the fruits of all the hard work i have previously put in.

-I have been to do a massage treatment
-Tried to convince her brother to have a treatment
-Met up with new friend through gumtree
-Stuck to coke so no expensive drinks
-Got free meal as her other half works as a chef!
    -Have sorted out business finances
    -Put money in 101 pot
-Have read business site for advice
    -Checked business emails
-Been out all day so not used gas or elec at home
-Foreign student gone away so no elec or gas for her this weekend
-Started writing list for plan of next week's activities/things to do
    -I will update spreadsheets
    -Start the mass cleaning
    -Start washing dirty cushion covers
    -Make tea from storecupboard food
    -Update blog
    -Unload car of massage gear
    -Start washing towels
    -Scanned and put away shopping
    -Finished two more beauty products
    -Did three loads of washing
-Stripped cushion covers and washed one lot, even though they have no care label, much cheaper than dry cleaning them!

    Hello all

    Not much for me today:
    • Ordered replacement Nectar card for OH - discovered he lost his months ago so hasn't been collecting points.
    • Did a survey on Nectar website for 100 points
    • OH paid Sky bill arrears so we are skint till payday but have one less bill to worry about
    • Worked out total debt and created signature below
That's all for me. Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the Bank Holiday weekend.

Finally had a nice dry day on the 8th of my 10 days off work at home so spent the day in the garden doing lots of planting, reusing pots, potting up veggies and lots of other things - useful, cheap and feel a lot better for it and hopefully it'll look lovely and give us lots of vegetables this summer too :j:j

It was almost a NSD, just under a fiver for some more compost - sent OH and he only came back with that :T
All meals from storecupboard, was going to make something for dinner but too tired so used meals in freezer rather than getting a takeaway :T
Used up 5 sachets and 2 more beauty products as part of my 100 day challenge and decluttering too :T
Wore my glasses so another day with no contact lenses
I'm in the middle of entering galaxy, glamour and mars giveaways and 5 other competitions
Then will spend 15 minutes on survey email account.

Will edit with list for tomorrow in the morning
    Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000
Initial Mortgage free date - January 2058
    Mortgage as of 1st February 2024 - £159,134.98
    Overpayments to date - £79.62

    Good Morning Everyone

Firstly I need to say thank you to you all for your support. It's really nice to see that the people here care. THANK YOU

We had a lovely, slightly lazy day yesterday. OH and I had a good go at the garden and it looks a lot better and cleared out the garage. We then had a lazy afternoon; went to pick up dad from work and had a great evening with my cousin and her husband.

Not going to manage much today - am off to do my voluntary shift this morning and then off to OH's uncle's for a BBQ!

Enjoy the lovely weather (if you have it).

    urg x x

Wow, very quiet on the thread this weekend, everyone is making me jealous with all these bbqs! Am keeping my fingers crossed that the weather will be nice for my bbq party next fri. Have been busy sorting out preperationf for it.

Not sure what today will bring and so am just going to see. I will just keep coming back and updating this list.
-I have spent an hour in garden getting it sorted for bbq celeberations
-Wrote a list of all alcohol i have in the house, mainly stuff i want using up, so that i wont have to buy any alcohol for the party, other people will just be bringing a bottle, to keep costs low
-Repotted some cheap plants i got and put round garden so that it looks nice on a budget price
-Emailed back new massage swap to sort out plans for next week, saving me £35.
-Text friend with free texts with regards to tonight's plans, off round to hers to watch a film, so other than petrol will be a nice cheap evening.
    -Looked for mystery shops
-Stuck washing outside so it will dry in sunshine
    -chekced online banking
    -moved small amount into isa
    -Did edging for grass

Have a great day everyone, however you decide to spend it

    Good morning!

I am on cat feeding duty this weekend (for exchange of Monkey sitting) so need to dash off soon to feed them. I managed NSD yesteraday but not likely today as petrol light is on and fridge empty. Still no attempt of tackling pile of scary post. DD's dad is not coming on Monday but got someone else to look after her so I will be able to go for my date, very excited. Fingers crossed that this time it will click on both sides. I have also sent an enquiry to join my local Lets scheme. I could then swap dog walking and pet feeding with child minding saving me bundle.

Today apart from my normal scratchies and clickies I will collect a bike for DD from freecycle, go to Longleat as planned yesterday and then do couple of cat feeding trips and of course continue HC and put piggies out again.
