If I were you I'd just look out for a flight sale with ryanair easyjet ect.
Decide where you want to go & book your flights.
There are plenty of web sites for accomodation.
I go to Alicante out of season & it's still hot enough to sunbathe on the beach.
No not Benidorm I go to Torrevieja.
It is hot in Benidorm to if you don't mind somewhere like that.0 -

I did think of Benidorm but heard it is like Blackpool abroad, and I HATE Blackpool! Malaga is another possibility, as is Alicante. Will have a look at Torreviega. I'm not really one for sunbathing but it would be nice to have some winter sun.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
Torrevieja is mainly a place where brits live or have bought holiday homes, I don,t think there are many hotels.
Benidorms is ok for a weekend away with freinds, not as bad as Blackpool.
Sorry but I wouldn't stay there.
I booked flights with Ryanair & stayed in the hotel Servigroup Pueblo Benidorm Hotel

I think an apartment might suit us better anyway. I have found a couple and exchanged emails about one that might be suitable. I am coming around to the idea of Torrevieja against Benidorm, even though it's harder to pronounce! I do speak a little Spanish though and one of my friends who is coming lives in Tenerife but is British and bilingual.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

Do you mean that you wouldn't stay in Torrevieja or that you wouldn't stay in Benidorm?

I would never use chat up lines on a lady like yourself.
A few cans of Carling, a couple of B&H, a greasy kebab and "get your knickers off" would probably suffice

            I wouldn't stay in Blackpool!
I've stayed in Torrevieja quite a few times it is nice.
If you go there you can fly to Alicante or Murcia it's about the same distance from both to Torrevieja.0 -

Oh right I see! Yes, one of the attractions of Torrevieja is the fact that it is between the two airports and gives more options regarding flights. We could even fly into one and out from the other if we wanted to.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
