Yes, you are right about Wilkinsons. On Sunday they were selling off Surfinia and other plants for tubs and baskets (50p) and they were all a decent size. Also, I just managed to get the last large pot of Oleander, a lovely decorative plant but then found out it is not very hardy. If you are really keen on growing from seed keep your eyes open for their seed sale. Last year I got quite a few with a 75% reduction.0 -
Blakey, I forgot to say that I am not much of a veg grower except for chillies. Other's might know what is best but I'd have thought a general purpose food would be good for most things. For tomatoes of course you need high potash at the appropriate time.0
