If you have not stated a preference in terms of how you want to be paid - I imagine you will be sent a booklet containing £3 worth of Accor Luncheon Vouchers (These can be spent in high street stores, including supermarkets)
If you have entered your email address and stated that you wish to be paid by paypal - They will deposit the funds into your paypal account after a few days0 -

I registered about 2 weeks ago, and I still haven't had any survey, althought they have sent me a username and passrword. How long did you have to wait until you received your first survey?
By the way, I also registered with Ipsos, but other than the email that says "thank you, we will email you your login details in a few weeks", I haven't heard anything since. Has anyone of you had the same experience? Does it take long to know if you have been accepted?
Thank you!
I am quite new to this whole thing (Surveys, MSE, etc), and I feel a bit lost!!Quit smoking *1st January 2010*

In terms of Ipsos, im experiencing the same thing as you. :S
But with pinecone, I think you're confusing the proper username and password with the username & password required to access the household questionnaire, basically the initial questionnaire. The household questionnaire and password is not the panel username and password. That will be sent to you with your first survey and also be included in every survey that you do. Hope this helps.0 -
I've done a survey for Pinecone, but even though my PayPal address was entered, I received the £3 payment in Luncheon Vouchers.Don't have sex, you will get pregnant and die!0

I received vouchers for my first survey too -I joined in feb. I emailed them to ask if they could pay be by paypal instead and they told me they would email to 'invite me to be paid via paypal' if I met their qualifications.
Am now being paid by paypal (after receiving vouchers for the first 3) and am getting about 2 surveys per month on average.
They seem very reliable on sending payment for each survey and also replying to emails (unlike some other survey sites)0 -

Was that your first payment? Because the first payment is almost always in the vouchers. You know above your paypal email address on the site, does it say 'accor 3' or something similar or 'paypal'? If it's accor 3, it'll be in the vouchers. You have to wait until it gets changed to paypal, then it'll get paid into your paypal account. I got an email from them like last month saying that paypal was another option, and even though my email address was already entered, when I logged on, i think it disappeared or something :S so i re-entered it and a few days after, they confirmed that i had changed to paypal and the option above my paypal email address changed to 'paypal'. I don't know if it's a loyalty scheme they have or something, like you have to be signed up with them for a certain number of months before you can change, because i remember some MSE members saying that after their first payment they started receiving through paypal.0 -

Mmm... yeah, that could be an explanation.
This is what I had:
"Welcome to the PineCone Research Online Consumer panel! Your first survey assignment is scheduled to arrive by e-mail in the days ahead. How Membership Works…
· You will receive an email when you are assigned to a survey. For most surveys you will need your Household ID number and password to access the study. For your convenience I have included it in this notice."
..............................
(etc)
I have not received anything since then. This was about 10 days ago, do you think I should contact them? Or should I just wait and see?
Thank you!

Oh. Then you do have the proper ID and password from the looks of it. I think they first initially sent mine with my first survey and not prior to it as far as i remember, though i guess i could be wrong. Did you do the household questionnaire already, as in the starting questionnaire where you had to answer questions, and it had a different username and password, and in the email it said that it wasn't the proper ID and pass? I think you should wait for a few more days then contact them. My first survey took quite a while after i finished the questionnaire.0
