Thanks Ellidee. Good price but not supposed to be spending. I should be looking for a spare part - rotary bladey bit - for mine but feel too defeated tonight. I can always use shears. :rotfl:

I went to bed last night with ice packs, may have to again today, I have sunburn/chemical burns on the backs of my knees

BGT is rubbish, we've got Dexter on, he's quite yummy for a serial killer

*hugs* to Buffy. I feel like that with my mum too, dad's here but they sit in different rooms every night. When I'm out she seems lonely, even though I'm often here online n not actually watching the tele.

cheers hon, thats me, online and watching tv - the joy of a laptop!

how come you have chemical burns? what happened?

hey buffs... reading your post about life n stuff does strike a chord with me, and i could see an easy to implement tool to alleviate some of the issues you speak of...

I just hope this doesn't come across as patronising, it's not meant to be........

Have you considered joining a gym, or finding an aquarobics/aerobics class or something local that you can get to once or twice a week... it'll give you some time to yourself, headspace, endorphins for feeling good in general, plus the obvious health benefits..... if you're intimidated by those kinda things, make calls and get some advice on the groups who attend, i started at an almost granny class even though the workout was as intense as i wanted it to be... it just gave me the confidence to get back into the swing of it.... and honestly i've never looked back. i value my workouts as my own time, and i fiercely protect that time...
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

how could you be paronising Maz?

I did used go to aerobics when we first moved here - I went with a mate and it was great. Unfortunately that all stopped when my mate moved away and now if I go out cos of where we live I would need a lift or a cab (which Mum gets really annoyed if I use them) to get anywhere.
I would like to point out when she goes to visit my sis in US I walk EVERY WHERE and last time she went away I lost a stone without even trying - it was literally cos I did walk to the bus stop station morrisions etc. It was really nice to be independant, I used to go shopping everyday at Morrisions for dinner. sighs. But Mum doesn't think its safe and worries and moans and says why are you doing that? And I just don't have it in my to upset her.

I know I wouldn't go on my own, its a catch 22 really I want to save money to pay off debts but I seem to have no life and so little choice how I spend my time here. Driving would make the biggest difference to my life. but there again after being ripped off so many times..........

    arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

sorry again. mostly just so many thoughts going round in my head. I really need to change things and every time I think it I make a little change and my life is better but more changes are needed.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Ouch. Yep hair removal creams are flaming dangerous. I don't even put moisturiser on afterwards I am so worried about the reaction.

    gentle hugs xxxxx
