Blackberry 8900 Please Help!

I have a blackberry 8900 and get an error message when i try to text or call.

Supplementary service error: General error.

Does anyone know what i should do??

It's possible that you have turned the antenna off by accident you can check this by looking for a small "sos" where the signal bars normally show.

If this is the case, go into the main menu and then to manage connections and select the wireless connection to be enabled. Once enabled, the icon will display "turn wireless off".

If you are showing as having signal, try rebooting the device by removing the battery whilst the handset is still on and then re-insert the battery and turn back on.
