Hey, that's not so much you know! I know it sounds huge right now but it is do-able.
You might have to think about what you do with your business - would you be better off if you got a job instead, with a regular income?
You know you really do need to get your OH on side as it is only 2k.:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Hi there
It might be time to take a long hard look at what you can sell, and raise some much needed cash that way. At least it will get you out of a bind. Try Ebay.

Hiya Dotty :hello:
Good to see you're wading through the paperwork and thats great news about powergen! Well done
Don't forget when you transfer the money out from paypal it takes a week or so to go through to the bank (just so you leave yourself breathing space)..
Might be an idea to add a sig saying how much you need this month and adding your total in so we can spur you on?
Can you bag a few extra hours on the cleaning job this month to help out?
Did you ring anymore people today in the end?I bet your heads spinning mine was when I first came here and there wasn't enough hours in the day to get everything done..I couldn't sleep as I was just thinking about it all..
Hopefully if you can get through this month we can make some savings so you don't have such a shortfall next month?
It does take a few weeks,maybe even a couple of months for it all to fall into place so don't get disheartened with it all it WILL work

Sorry hon, misunderstood, but if that 2k will get you on track then focus on that for the moment cos it's an easier figure to worry about than 35k!
What else could you do? Another job? Babysitting? Cleaning?:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Dottyanne - morning!!!
Please please please can you list EVERYTHING that you owe. Whether that be your debts that are under control or your arrears - as well as your monthly payments for mortgage/gas/elec/water/car/food - EVERYTHING that you need to spend money on. And if you could give us your incomings too - this is the only way that we can advise you so that we can build a clear picture of how you can best proceed. Well done on writing to the Council Tax Dept though - I am sure that they will accept your payment proposal - you need to make sure you can afford it though.
Also if Powergen are planning on taking the money but you know it wont be in your account, you need to call them and tell them this - otherwise the DD will bounce and then you will be lumbered with bank charges too!!
If you dont want to post on the board, PM me & I will try to help!!
There IS a way out of this mess so dont worry. You will feel so much better once it's under control.

Are you feeling any better today? Hows the paperwork going?
Read on another thread that your OH wasn't very helpful-sorry! you never know he may come round when he sees you making progress or he may feel the same deep down, but feels frightened to admit it out loud.
Just had some advice off the phones board to reduce my calls costs, business and home on the same line so i'm in the middle of sorting that when I noticed you were back online.
Post your figures as soon as you are sorted everyone will soon give you some tips.
