Buyer wants refund

Hi
Just a quick one.
I have sold an item of which the RRP is about £35 and have sold it for £9.50 so they are getting a good deal. The item is exactly as described and exactly as seen in photo.
Buyer has come back to say they dont like it and want a refund...
I have 100% feedback, so not happy that they are likely to neg me, but want to stand my ground (if i am right) and refuse refund...
Thanks

I'm in a similar position but for 10x the amount.
I'll just accept the return, refund, cancel the sale, relist and resell.

If you are a private seller or sold it by auction, there is no obligation for you to refund just beacuse they have changed their mind, or now decided they don't like it.
If they are being difficult, ask them to open a paypal case for "not as described" - in which case they'll have to return the item to you with tracking at their own cost.
You mention about your 100% feedback - if they have threatened to neg you, then that could easily be construed as feedback extortion, and ebay do take this seriously.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
Thank you, seems better to refund and resell than get a neg for it. Just makes me sick that buyers can take the P and sellers aren't protected to leave neg feedback0

Time wasters make ebay more money.
They want people to send stuff back, it earns them relist fees.
It's always about ebay's profits."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

According to Ebay policies you have to refund if the item is not as described or faulty. If the buyer don't like the item you've sold it's not your problem, I would not refund.I had the same problem a while ago with a buyer that said the item was not as described, asked to send back the item as per Ebay policy through recorded delivery, buyer didn't wanted to so told her that I won't give a refund.I did get a negative for that but I've added a polite comment after that and life goes on...0
