hi

my friend can't afford his iphone anymore and has stopped paying o2. he has offered to sell my husband the iphone for my dh to put his o2 sim into.

my question is - if my husband buys it will the iphone get blocked because his friend has stopped buying the iphone bill and be useless to him?
Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.

wins - peroni bottle opener, peroni bowl, peroni coastersx2 and a vodkat cocktail kit,
would love to win something 'proper'!!

The iPhone will only be blocked if it has been reported stolen. If your friend has stopped paying the bills, then I think O2 would just restrict your friends Sim card from making and receiving calls/texts. The contract is linked to the SIM not the phone.
