If I were you I would go down to my local branch of HSBC and sit there until someone does something about it. Make it the responsibility of the bank manager to address the issue and call the relevant departments. Be courteous but firm with them and say that you will not be leaving until someone within HSBC takes you seriously.

How many letters have you written to HSBC - did you send any of them recorded delivery?

Have you gone to see the CAB or a solicitor?

If you haven't yet written to the HSBC complaints department then I would question the reason why. They have a certain period in which to address and respond to your complaint. If it is not adequately addressed in that time, you can then go to the FSA.

As you have not volunteered any more information it is difficult to give you any more advice. The facts as you state them are that you are a victim of fraud, you have made calls to HSBC but haven't really done a lot else in at least 6 months. That is the reason why people on this thread are questioning your sincerity.

If we hadn't realised you were not who you purported to be then things would be somewhat different, hazarding an educated guess of course.

So please enlighten us all and tell us who your employer is and your intentions because trust me my friend, your story is not true - that much is a certainty.
