Cancelling my Orange contract

Help!! Im going travelling to Oz for the next 12 or so months and need to cancel my orange contract.Unfortunatly Im only in month 6 and customer service could only offer a 6 month break or to sign the contract over to someone else. Neither of these are viable but surely somehow I can get out of the contract legally and without paying a fortune seeing as Im leaving the country!!! Anyone got any ideas?

No other way other than what orange suggest....you could buy the remainder of your contract out but this would be your monthly rental * 6mnths (plus any cancellation charges they might add)We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0
