    I downloaded IE8 but would like to revert back to IE7.

    Unfortunately (trying to free up some space on PC!) I deleted all but last restore point, since the download.

    If I uninstall IE8 will I be browser-less for ever?

    Help appreciated :o

    Nope.
    When you remove Internet Explorer 8, your earlier version of Internet Explorer is restored with your customizations (such as add-ins, Favorites, and your home page).
