o2 & 6720!

So If I don't have any joy with my complaint with Orange then I'm thinking of going with 02 (The 18 month tariff with 300 mins and 750 texts seems pretty good).

I was just wondering what are they like as a service provider? What is their customer service like? Is their call centre in the UK or abroad? Are they easy to cancel contracts at the end of the agreement? Anything else good or bad you can say about them?

Also I want to get (either the Nokia 6111 or the 6720) - has anyone seen the 6720? Any opinions (good/bad) about it? Is it a blokey looking phone? ... I want a pretty one but seeing as It looks like I can't have the 7370 anytime soon I thought I'd go for technology instead! Failing that it'll be the 6111!

So many questions! Thanks if your still with me! :o

o2 customer services was aweful a while back, but they have improved all recognition now. I use o2 and I find that their customer service is fine. Their call centres are in uk and can be contacted via 202/100 from the handset rather than 0870. It is fairly easy to cancel a contract with them, but on the flip side they tend to do more to try and keep their customers imo. Coverage is very good and your free minutes can be used to call 0870/0844/0845/0800(but this depends on the airtime provider - do read the t&c's of your agreement).

6270 (non 3g version of 6280) is a fairly big phone and suffers from typical nokia problem in that the software seems to be very unstable in the current first release. 6111 is a very small handset with fairly basic features when compared with handsets of a similar price, but if you're just looking for looks then it serves its purpose as a small cute phone.
  • Hi Thanks for the info ... I ended up after everything going with T-Mobile on their flext tariff as that gives me what I want so fingers crossed that will be better than Orange/o2!
