egg money account

I though i would open an egg money account then do balance transfer from HSBC 0% and then from move money to my savings account. But i got e-mail from Egg stating:

"We've carefully considered your application and on this occasion we're unable to offer you an Egg Money Card. We use a several ways of assessing Egg Money Card applications. These include a Credit Reference Agency check and our own credit scoring."

Don't know what else i can do.

If you have no idea why you may have been rejected I would have a look at your credit report. There are lots of ways to do this but in my view the easiest way is to sign up to Experian. You can get a free trial via their website.

Call or email them to appeal, it worked for me! With online applications, the computer tends to be overcautious but if you speak to them, you can win them round

If appeal is unsuccessful, use 'back door' later in a few months: rejected for egg money :(
