Hi I am new to stoozing and having read Martins guide i decided to give it a go, i was going to use the advanced method but it seems the Abbey card is no longer fee free even instore(I read that on this foru correct me if im wrong).
So i thought i would use the egg money card and transfer money from a 0% card to that and then withdraw cash from that and pay it into a high intrest bank account. However i was rejected for the egg money card
Any ideas How i can start stoozing?

Firstly, ask Egg why they declined you. Then take a look at your credit reports - Egg will probably suggest this anyway.neo.b wrote:Any ideas How i can start stoozing?0 -
Next time use 'back door'. See post #3 here: Just been turned down for Egg Money: any advice why? . I used this door successfully 6 months after had been rejected (don't know why) for Egg Card ...
P.S. Check also full list of requirements0 -
Thanks very much, i have e-mailed them appealing against the decision and if that fails i will try the suggested back door. I'll let you know what happens to help other newbies.0

I finally got my egg savings account open after a bit of a delay (problems with change of address). How long do you recommend i wait before reapplying for an egg card? And do you think transferring in 100 pounds a month is enough?0

I waited 6 months, but think it is not worth trying in less than 3 months. How long do you recommend i wait before reapplying for an egg card?
BTW I read a few posts that others successfully appealed rejection through some e-mail address on the website. Maybe it is not still late for you to appeal?0 -
Thanks, yes you can appeal through their secure messaging system, i tried it but they told me to write a letter to their credit manager0
