I did a £35 shop on monday and was told they do not accept them. I am now intending to shop at Morrisons for the next 6 weeks. 2 coupons a week mean a saving of £60 on £360 pounds worth of shopping...or £360 pounds less in mr T's tills.
    Winnings 2007 = £463 winnings 2008 = £3000
2009 prizes = Tinkerbell DVD, Lipstick, apertif dish, London day out, secret service xbox game.
  • Why would the Morrisons voucher be valid for Tescos? It's Morrisons, it's a shop all by itself, and not a part of Tesco.

Feel free to call me a screaming  but I think that's obvious...:rotfl:

Last time these coupons where issued Mr T took them to stop people from changing there shopping. They must have been able to afford a £5 loss on a £30 and would rather we spent in there tills than there rivals

They do accept them - give 0800 505 555 a ring and tell them the problems you are having.

I had probs with my local and I got this number from another poster in the discount vouchers thread.

My local is know accepting them.

Good luck if you decide to give it a go.

They would not let me use it against the beer offers.

No ifs or buts about this coupon ! My local wouldn't take it earlier this week and I was given to understand that the scanning problem was being sorted out and thge coupon would then be OK. Well, it hasn't been sorted and they wouldn't take it today Either! Apparently , Head Office have confirmed numerous times to irate customers who phone them that this coupon WILL be accepted and the advice is to go to CS and insist that CS phone Dundee while you are waiting there and they WILL be told that they MUST take the coupon - regardless of what their Managers may say!

I was told today by Dundee that this was the case and, when I was unsure about going to CS (I'm already in dispute with this store over their coupon policy), they took the store details and said they would phone them direct and explain the error or their ways !

This is Tesco being prats again and not getting themselves organised.

What is the outcome then, could I call and complain? Seems no point, just as hame for an extra fiver I couldn't have another crate of beer. She said it would only work on the normal checkouts, not the self scan, but I think she was lying.

As I was buying the paper on Monday I saw the manager and asked him if he would take the coupon, he asked a supervisor to scan it, it did not scan and he told me that he would not be able to take it...went to another Tesco today and used the coupon with absolutely no probs at all, but they had sold out of copies of The Sun, so as I was passing my local Tesco popped in there to get the paper and was told that they were now taking the coupon...just a matter of waiting for all the stores to get their acts together.
  • Asda not taking them either, they normally take all vouchers, morrisons, tesco, farm foods, Aldi etc but the lad on the checkouts said it had all stopped now. Don't know why, you think they'd be glad you shop there!
