It is a contract requirement that you give 30 days notice, and you will be charged for that period.
SO change the bloody title or just delete the whole thread!

Maybe you have missed the point. I HAVE given thirty days notice to terminate my contract. Orange are going to charge me ANOTHER 30 days just because I request a PAC - even if I use it within 7 days and I'm outside my minimum term.
Changed the title....0 -
You mean they are charging you for 60 days?Jinner wrote:Maybe you have missed the point. I HAVE given thirty days notice to terminate my contract. Orange are going to charge me ANOTHER 30 days just because I request a PAC - even if I use it within 7 days and I'm outside my minimum term.
I'm sorry I hadn't realised that's what you meant. I don't think anybody has mentioned this policy before.0 -

Changed the title....
But surely you should have EITHER given 30 days notice to cancel your contract OR requested a PAC and NOT done both!
When a PAC is actualy used, it cancels the contract.
Why don't you ask eco21 "Need Orange Help...ask away" for clarification.

It is standard practice - if you give 30 days notice to cancel, then during that 30 days request a PAC, it starts the 30 days notice again - you cannot do both.
However, use your PAC and within 7 days your contract is cancelled. Having done this 2 months again, I can confirm that I received 23 days refund of line rental from Orange after having paid in advance. We also did the same on Three.
