i agree with littlereddemon,
i think its very greedy selling things you dont have and you deserve what you get. think of the upset you have caused people, should they really have to reply to you ? you may not be their priority at the moment. they may have made a type error in the phone number now you have reported them double whamy, look at the situation you have dumped them in, just so you can make afew quid. i would post -ve feedback if it were me.#
sorry to be so harsh but i feel strongley about shops and people that go back on contracts.A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

I reported to Ebay to enable me to contact them. How can I sort this out with them if they do not reply to e-mails or have invalid contact details.
You are all very fast to condemn me and I have put my hands up...mea culpa!!!
But i need to communicate with people to sort it out!!!
To err is human...I have erred and now I need to sort it out to the best of my ability.0 -
It's a tad dangerous running auctions for goods you don't yet have, there is always the possibility that the supplier will let you down and you will look very stupid.
A lot of EBayers go even further and use dropship companies where they are never actually in possession of the goods - you sometimes find they have a lot of negatives because for example, they could not supply goods because the dropshipper no longer had them in stock when the auction finished.
Invariably it leads to trouble. I thought about dropshipping things but I couldn't be bothered with the messing around if things went wrong.0 -
Hintza, if anyone who has left you negative feedback has false contact information up on ebay, then you may be eligable to have it removed:
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/feedback-removal.html
"Feedback left by a member who provided eBay with false contact information (as verified by eBay) and cannot be contacted. In general, the transaction period is considered to be 90 days from the end of the listing or 30 days from the date the feedback was left, whichever was longer."
In regards to items taking there time to arrive from the US, well I have experienced that in the past as well. Many of my orders used to get to me in around 7-10 days time, however one time it took 21 days and I thought it had been lost or held up in customs. Ever since then I have insisted that things I plan on selling here are sent via Global Express Mail (which I usually have within 3-5 days - and they are automaticlly insured for not much more than regular mail).0 -
Further to Vinny's comments about insurance.
The 30 days are almost up and I need to think about putting a claim in through PayPal. The problem is I have two suppliers and at least one I am 99% sure they hace sent the goods, the other Iam not so sure about (lack of decent comms!!)
I suspect that they might not be covered by insurance and assuming they have sent the goods they are going to be mighty cheesed off.
Should I worry about this?
I can see the argument:- "You have received the goods and now you are trying to do a charge back etc....."
This is not great for all round harmony but I really must cover myself and can not let it slip.
Any thoughts??0 -
As to Madsamuri and LittleRedDemon and before you climb all over me again I AM IN THE WRONG!!
But
My customers that have not contacted me nor read/answered my e-mails are also in the wrong.
You can not leave negative feedback without trying to contact the seller. Anything could have happened; me being hit by a bus, Xmas mail hold up, lost in the post etc etc.
I get a feeling from the tone of some of these comments that some people think we part time sellers are all crooks trying to rip people off on EBay. We sometimes make mistakes and we have to pay for them and sort them out.
Please encourage people to take their fingers of the trigger and communicate first.0 -
Update
Yesterday I rebought on EBay and elswhere enough stock to cover my sales.
Needless to say one parcel arrived today and have given my customers double what they ordered.
The parcel was posted on 8th December by 4-6 day priority mail and was due to arrive before my auctions ended.
This is costing me a fortune...arghhh0 -
I have to write in the OP's defence that at least he is trying to correct the mistake he has made. Too many sellers do this sort of thing (sell goods without actually having them) and buyers are left in the s**t when they can't provide them. (have had this experience myself as a buyer). I wish that the seller who caused me my bad experience had been so bothered about working things out as the OP.What did I do at work before I discovered MSE?!
DFD - WAS: a while ago
NOW - not sure, due to boyfriend going back to uni for masters and now pgce. Worth it in the long run!
Proud to be dealing with my debts!0 -

I agree and I think some of the comments made by others on this thread have been unnecessarily harsh..0 -
Hi all
The saga is now at an end all my stuff has arrived from the USA both parcels posted 7-8th December on 4-6 day delivery. Where has it been.
My feedback is now below 95% but could have been a lot worse and I might try to salvage this account instead of starting again. Will see how it pans out over the next few days. But starting from scratch is a lot of hard work!!
I have given some of my buyers an extra item if I can. I have sent a couple of freebies to those that I refunded and still left a positive...lovely.
I have even had a positive from someoe today thanking me for taking my time to keep them informed and I only posted it this evening.
I have also sent all my buyers an e-mail from my personal account as many appear to get get junked as spam or junk mail. This is an issue that needs addressed as so many of my buyers have not been getting my mail.
I had one great mail two days ago asking me where the hell their goods were ......... they had used the mail I had sent (and obviosly not read) 10 minutes previously with a lengthy explanation of what was going on...go figure.
I have also re-bought enough to cover all my sales and needless to say on one item the market has taken a dive, too many sellers....so a big loss coming there.
So the moral of the story:-
Sellers:- Do not sell what you don't have!!
Buyers:- Please communicate with the seller and check your mail filters.
Whew thank you all for your support0
