about 20 quid, never used a credit card, very rarely use a debit card, i just find it easier to keep a feel for how much spending i've done, i usually draw 100 out at a time then simply get another 100 out when thats done, plus i hate being behind people in queues who use cards

    £29.15p.

I knew I had £20 plus some change - now I know I have 'almost £30' and feel much richer.

    zero.

i never carry cash - i find it wasteful. i just lose all my change, so cheaper to pay for everything on card.

the only thing i ever get cash out for is to charge up my work canteen card.

it's not 1991 anymore. with chip and pin it's just as fast to pay by card - and in a lot of cases (i.e. women fumbling around in their purse trying to find the exact change) it's much quicker.

£24.59. It's been there untouched for a while though.

I always carry £20-£30 for parking meters, vending machines, and other situations where only cash will do. Rarely need to use it though, I'm thinking back and the last time was 23 days ago.

    €58.25.

I suppose I should also add the €20 or so that's on my Proton card as that is effectively cash.

and now I have to type something to get to the minimum characters....

I only tend to take cash out in £100 chunks now to save going to the cashpoint too often. I remember the times of £5 withdrawals.... that's inflation for ya.... oh yeah and the fact I'm not at school anymore!

    £183.50

Although only because in a bit of a drunken state on Monday, i hit £200 for the cash withrawl rather than the £20 I had been intending.

Fortunately I didn't spend all of it - although it was a bit odd waking up yesterday morning feeling rich only to be disappointed checking the online banking :o

A lot of the time now, I go out on a night out with just cash and no bank card on me.

After 6 or 7 pints, a trip to the night club via the cash line can be too tempting and expensive!

Cashlines and alcohol are a dangerous combination!
