I feel the urge to DO something now I'm officially a nerd! There must be more to being a nerd than having a number, right?

I suggest we encourage nerdism on this thread. As nerds, we should strive to outdo each other for nerdish behaviour and pass on nerdatious tips to our brethren in a quest to become even more nerdative.

Here's my outstanding example from the weekend:

I wrote out my meal plan for the week and went shopping for ingredients. I am proud to report that as my meal plan had only one banana on it this week, I only bought ONE banana instead of the usual bunch.

I'm feeling quite smug actually!

If I'm buying things in the supermarket that will total just short of the next pound I usually get a small banana to take me just over so that I get another clubcard point

There are pros and cons to this behaviour of course because it is wanton fruit-buying for a lesser gain but I then tend to eat the banana, thus contributing to the daily 5-a-day and gaining the general satisfaction of not having been 'just done out of the next point'.
