can I join? I'm definatly getting "nerdy" about spending money. My OH said it's getting obsessive, but then he's quite happy when we've got money left over at the end of the month to pay of the loan and we've put money into the mortgage overpayment account.

Below the box where you type your message, press the "go advanced" button. You'll get a text box with buttons to do all sorts, make things bigger, bold , underlined or even a different colour! To the right of the box is a selection of smilies (the little pics and icons) and a link "more" to see the full range. You can enter them in your message by pressing on the picture. You'll notice that the html code for them comes up, for example a smiling face , is a colon : followed by a bracket ) . Some of them are words to. As you get used to them you can insert them just by typing this code. Just press preview post at any stage to see what they look like!
