Not sure - I am no expert, as it only arrived yesterday and it took me ages to set it up as the instructions are useless! It is called an Ow

It certainly raises awareness of how much power is being used, and I guess over time it will pay for itself with me running around and switching things off :D

We have one and we love it

Tells you exactly how much you are using, and then you also look before you go out and think OK what's been left on - also means I know when the kids have htings switched on :)

Had ours for about a year and I would have another one in a flash if it broke#

ironing is very bad, but look what happens when you switch on the cooker

I've seen energy monitors in wilkinson for about £8, but can't vouch for if they are any good or not.

    Anyhow, today I have
    1) Not gone to work due to terrible cough / cold so saved on fuel.

    2) Checked banking and quidco etc

    3) SC x 1Op and played it all on penny bingo. Then played free bingo (well, the laptop did) for two hours. Won naff all.

    4) LSD. Just paper ( Sun for £5 voucher) , lentils bread and milk.

    5) I did buy a purse when I popped to the shop as mine keeps coming open , but I can't shut the new one with all my cards in :eek:so I will be getting a refund on that.

    6) Watched some more of my freebie DVD, and will do again in a bit.

    7) Bought B's bday presents using survey vouchers and went through Quidco. Have only really got her some bits to open as her main present is our posh girly weekend in London.

    8) Received free Railcard in post and face wash sample.

    See you tomorrow L x

Work went well today, was able to choose how I worked next week so have gone for 2 x 8 hour shifts, so not bad. Am a little concerned though as I have just found out that my employer has no employer liability insurance  and I thought that was a legal requirement? Also told boss that I wasnt able to work BH monday, she understood, and kind of admitted she was trying it on.

Right, off to catch up on the thread!

Not such a good day today but tried hard.

Parked in the cheapest carpark in town over 1/2 the price of some of them
Didn't buy anything extra at the dentist
Got the M&S magazine, supposed to be 1p but big sticker on the box saying free and big queue so just took it (missed out on the bazaar stuff and went quickly so wasn't tempted by anything else).
Used the £3 voucher lakeland sent me to get 2 reduced cookie cutters which I'll use and were free and didn't spend anything else.
Went in Boots and didn't spend anything :j
Bought what I needed in Superdrug and it was cheaper - need to go in there more.
Used the cafe voucher I got in Sainsburys to get 2 drinks and 2 cakes for less than a cup of coffee in Starbucks etc.
Succumbed to some much needed clothes but it's 25% off in Sainsburys and I like their stuff.
Did the shopping but made good use of offers and kept to my list (almost )
Filled the car up with petrol at Sainsburys as it's the cheapest round here atm.

Hopefully have the problems with Eon sorted - just looking at energy costs now.
