Hello!
Happy Birthday Bagpuss
Not much done here:
- Scratchies
- Curly
- Cashback bingo
- LL coming finally to fix shower so will save in heating and water!!! (and time!)
- Had sausage sandwich from home for lunch
- Supper what I can find
- Will try to get that salad done for lunch for tomorrow
Going shortly to singing workshop. Obviously I am not singing today (still a bit dodgy voice) but it will be great to see how it works so next time I can go there for real."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Well i have just sent a message to the buyer of the Sky box to inform him i am unable to send it and will have to cancel the sale, will prob get negative feedback or reported as an incompetent seller. Great, there goes my ebaying selling!!!
Well today apart from worrying about this sky box buisness i have:- one wash on 30 and line dried!
- going to put another wash on now and hang out on airer.
- ate free sandwiches at work for lunch which were left from a meeting.
- totally forgot to send ebay parcels, naughty me!
- worry some more about getting negative feedback as have been really slack!

oooooo and i have started meal planning for next month as should get paid friday and want to start off organised. counted the days we need dinner for minus the days we would treat ourselves to a harvester mainly as is cheap before 630pm. counted up all the meats and prices so far and written down the fruit and veg so far, need to do loads more.
thought i would share that with you!!0 -

Not sure - I am no expert, as it only arrived yesterday and it took me ages to set it up as the instructions are useless! It is called an Owl, and it was recommended in the Guardian last weekend, so I thought I would give it a go (sucker for gadgets). It certainly does the job of showing you which appliances use the most power - hello electric kettle, shower and non-energy saving lightbulbs! The dishwasher and washing machine use a lot when they are heating up but not too bad otherwise (both A rated). I don't have an electric oven or tumble dryer but I would think they use a lot. Iron probably does too but mine is not allowed very often
It certainly raises awareness of how much power is being used, and I guess over time it will pay for itself with me running around and switching things off
