T-Mobile Personal call plan

I have the original (one-2-one) personal call plan.
This is the one that is free from 7 thru 7 and all weekend local calls.
My question is. Is this still good value?
I have seen many offers with crossnetwork free calls free texts ect. But is my T-mobile account still a good choice in todays market.
I have a feeling that t-mobile would be glad for me to end the account but i'm not sure why.
Any advice greatly accepted.

Do you have to pay anything for it?
If not it sounds worth keeping going - and getting a new deal elsewhere for your chargeable calls during peak times.0 -
£17 excluding vat per month!Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0

I remember those plans. It is only free to same network/ landline, or just landlines only? It would depend on what networks u call the most. It is always worthwhile to get x-net minutes these days as usually friends/relatives networks are different to yours.
Get a rent-free contract phones from https://www.fwdcellular.com they have very cheap prices for contract phones after claiming cashback. I have 4 contracts with them on t-mobile in total, 2 I took out in May 2004 and got my rebate, 2 i just took out a few days ago. They have the best cashback system bar none, where u get a whole year's cashback by just sending them your first bill. It means you'll have all the cash in your bank and will only be paying monthly to the network provider. They are supremely reliable and had rave reviews on these boards and newgroups.0 -
i had it for years, then decided to terminate it about 2 years ago coz i dont make enuf local landline to justify the monthly cost. got it transfer to a PAYG coz i wanted to keep the fone number. now i am approx £20 better off per month

got a rent free fone from https://www.fwdcellular.com for all my outgoing calls coz that's includes national numbers and also to mobiles.0 -

Find out if T-Mobile charge for 0844 numbers, if its included in your free allowance between 7-7 and all weekend you can make cross network calls using an indirect access number thru https://www.07tel.co.uk where by you dial the 07tel number and will be given a dial tone to call your chosen number ie the cross network and it won't cost you anything.
Hope this helps0 -
no 0844, 0845, 0870, and 0871 are charged at 10p per minute on T-Mobile contract. On pay as you go it is 40p a minute!!!0

I also have the old One2One Freetime contract. I know the new priceplans do charge for 0844, 0845, 0870 etc, however, this was taken out back in the good ole days when Orange ED50 was around. If I am right, ED50 allows 0870 0845 to be inclusive in your call allowances. So maybe this One2One albeit T-mobile allows these also.
Any thought ????0
