So do I
but to be honest the access issues are not the CSAs doing - although I do understand your frustration at the expenses of seeing your step daughter not being properly reflected in your reduction.
The two weeks that you see your step daughter will be included in the number of nights that you see her overall. So if you see her for 52 nights of the year then you should see a 1/7 reduction in the 15% net take home that your husband pays, if you see her for 104 nights in a year then it's 2/7 reduction etc etc. So although it doesn't seem to count - if you have enough nights over all then it does count.
Is there any reason that you couldn't negotiate less weekends but half the school holidays? That might be more cost effective but you would still be seeing her the same number of nights so shouldn't affect your assessment? (I know counting nights seem counter intuitive as children don't actually cost much at night and the only reason I can think that the CSA do this is that it is rare for a child to change from one parent to another during the night but it could happen frequently during the day).
I don't understand why he loses half his danger money (sorry if that's a politically incorrect term - I don't know the proper one) to his daughter - he is supposed to pay 15% of his take home less the small amount due to the variation less the small amount because he now has a baby with you and less any 'nights' that he sees her, so this should always be the same percentage amount - it will only vary because his take home varies - how can it suddenly jump to 50%? Could you give me some figures so I can see where you are coming from?

Sou,
We used to pay £210 a month then we had our baby it went down to £195 which I dont think is much cause of house much we have to pay for our baby including 400+ a month for childcare. When my husband went to Afgan he got paid an extra 400 a month danger money and cause this was classed as additional money we ended up paying £410 a month for 6 months. We both checked and double checked this and apprantly it was right?! We didnt inform them that he was getting extra money cause we knew he would lose a large amount of this but his ex wife who we dont get on with told them that he was away in Afghan and she also had the nerve to moan that he wouldnt be able to see his daughter for 6 months! She was married to him for 5 years and knew his job when she had a baby with him but moans when he goes on tour and cant see her!!! Just doesnt seem right somehow!0 -
my cruise my darling moaning women sets sail from southampton on dec 7th .come along and wave to me from the dock .yes i am taking my kids out of school simply because its cheaper but as i keep an eye on both of them with homework they both are in the top 2 in their class and will catch up with very little trouble(by the way the school emailed me on my last cruise most days with some homework which was great too).i have been married TWICE ,my first wife has my children and yes i will do everything to get as much info to be able to take my children off my ex wife (not the present one you idiot for posting that) so that they can live a better life with me without the drink and drugs that my ex so wonderfully hides from the authorities...by the way as i have my kids for 14nights then (look up the cruise please)do you poor women think i should get my £2.00 back hahahaha do the housework and stop moaning because GREAT dads like me beat you and that CSA xxx have fun talking about me :T0

I have to admit - it doesn't seem right to me either, not just in the moral sense but in the actual mathematical sense

You could always delete your posts or edit them so they are blank if you don't want to bother setting up a new account.
