  • i have an epson stylus d92 and im having trouble with it accepting compatable inks,
i really need to use the cheaper inks, all i use it for is to print my ebay lables so im not too bothered about quality
im looking for another printer which would take the cheaper inks but im lost at which one would be the best, the printer really needs to be cheap aswell, moneys very tight at the moment
    thankyou in advance

Don't waste your time with another ink jet printer, as others have mentioned, get a low cost black & white laser, they offer great quality and so much cheaper to run than an inkjet if you don't need colour. I am a big fan of samsung lasers, I'm now on my third and it's been in daily use for two years and shows no sign of stopping, I think I paid just over 50 quid for it. I buy bulk toner and refill the toner cartridge as necessary, you can refill a toner cartridge about 3 times.

oh sorry i mean on the compatable cartridges mentioned in above links,i meant if they dont work after installing
    im not with it today

if your referring to my links yes to ink-power. But you shouldnt have any problems with the compatibles. also note that i forgot to mention that you dont have to buy 3x4 sets, you could buy 1 of each colour, red, green and a blue and 9 black, or you could just buy 12 black.

more info on the lazer printer aircooledheaven is going on about.
product cost £42.98 currently from ebuyer. should so around 700 sheets, replacement toner cartridge would do 1500
quote from samsung site "Average Cartridge Yield 1500 standard pages (Ships with 700 pages Starter Toner Cartridge) Declared cartridge yield in accordance with ISO / IEC 19752"
a new toner cartridge looking at £38-44
refill toner ink £11 which should be able to refill the cartridge twice.
