Don't you find though that quite often we do have bad days at the same time. It is weird, like theres something in the atmosphere.
MrsT fell off the wagon at the same time as me, and theres a few times when "confessions" have coincided.

Thats a good thing too though, its reassuring to know that others feel the same way!!

Thanks for the Biggest Loser info Maz, I've set it up now.

Hey guys, i got an answer from the CD woman...........

    Answers as follows:

Is there a financial outlay at first for the training?
It has changed but when I did it there was only one day and I think it cost me £150 for the day. Then you have to pay up front for stock - costs a couple of hundred quid.

What kinda margin is there in the packs? i.e. for my £38 a week, how much does CDC get? NI/Tax not withstanding.
Discounts depend on h ow much you sell but average you can expect to keep about a third of your turnover. I charge £37 a week and think I get to 'keep' about £12.

    Do you enjoy it?
I really like it, most of my people are lovely but sometimes there is an odd weird one but they don't tend to stay long

Is it actually worth it? Or am i better just being an advocate without getting involved in selling... i do a good job of converting people to my way of thinking and am really positive about the diet...
I felt like you so I would say so. It would never replace a real job for me - no guaranteed income

Does it keep you on the straight and narrow.... my CDC is not really much of an advert for it TBH.... It does keep me on track mainly. If i didn't have them coming i would probably be back to 18 stone.

    Hope this helps.

From my point of view councellors should be as flexible as possible. i change appointments, let people come and not buy any products, buy just what they need even if its one sachet.

Cheers and keep up the good work.

Anyway, can't say the financial rewards are huge.... am i fickle if i consign that idea to the bin for now....................????

No. I would love to help people if I was in a position to become a CDC, it would have to make a certain amount that would be a good dent in your household budget and its not like a voluntary role that you can leave at the workplace as the workplace is your home. Its not fickle its just realistic you can only do so much
