                    hello everyone,
i've recently found out that there a possiblity i could reclaim my money spent on ppi, but can anyone tell me please, could i go back and reclaim from 1994 onwards? and also as i don't have every loan contract from 1994, can i go into each bank and ask for these details?
Thank you
Kev

 Hi there Kev and welcome.;)
I would give it a go anyway, however the older they are it may be more difficult, but yet i have read about some have been successful from older loans ppi, there is no harm in giving it a go.
Good luck and below it the link to useful info and templates, write in your own reasons and follow the guidelines on the link.

            Kev,
Just as Di has said above, give the templates a look, and if you have any problems feel free to givem a shout, im in the process of mine and know its a little daunting trying to work out who to send what etc. and what to say.
Which Bank are you going to battle? Im currently in a Lloyds BattleAwaiting PPI - Lloyds TSB LoanDebt Free Date: [STRIKE]30/10/09 02/10/09 07/08/09 [/STRIKE] 10/07/090

Just to add to advice already given, in principle there is nothing to stop you going back to this date. With regards to paperwork, the bank is only obliged to retain loan details/agreement for 6 years from when the loan was paid off (assuming it has been paid off).
The other consideration is, was the lender was a bank (deposit-taking) or a finance/ loan company? Pre 2005 non-bank is difficult without taking legal action through the courts. If it was a bank you can use the FOS if you have no joy via subject of your complaint.0
