Does a mortgage appear on your Credit Report

in Credit cards
I have had a mortgage for the past 15 years. Should this be on my Credit Report, I have checked with Experian, Equifax and Call Credit, but it isn't shown on any.

Gosh, I would have thought so! That has to be the ultimate credit facility. It shows you can manage a large sum of money as well.
I don't have a mortgage so can't say for certain, but I'd be very surprised if it wasn't meant to be on your CRA.0 -
mine is on my credit reports0

Yes it should be on there (not necessarily on all of them but at least one).
Have you changed name, address etc.
I have one account where they didn't change my address.0 -
Mine does not show anywhere either and also Non Status (i.e. Self Certified)....... I'd have thought those would show for definite!

Weird, would it be beneficial for it to show?Official SOS Club number 004 - Dry until (05.01.10)0

Yes of course cos its the best way to prove you handle debt but dont be mistaken, it is not revolving credit and so does not change your score too much.
A mortgage, if you like, proves stability and affordability. It does not show your revolving credit liabilities and the way you manage them.2010 - year of the troll

Check for variations of your address - there are three versions of my current address and at least two for my previous address - I've now had all these linked to my credit file and my mortgage has magically appeared!
Also applies for name changes, but beware if you have a common surname (like me) as all sorts of things can crop up that are nothing to do with you at all!Mortgage Free thanks to ill-health retirement0 -
There aren't any variations of my address - so can't be that. My building society mustn't report to any of them
