well done on the 0% card and everything feeling better. It's hard to break the habits isn't it? I wouldn't be so bad if I didn't spend on hubby and the kids, I hardly ever spend on myself but i like to treat them. Still not good though and a hard habit to break.2010 Cost of Living Challenge - £901/£5300 * Grocery challenge - £117.91/£120 *Total Debt- [STRIKE]£6388.74[/STRIKE] £5995.66 :eek:Debt Free Reward Pot £11 * Overdraft vs 100 days £363.76/£800 *Feb NSD's 8/120

I know what you mean I have to fight myself sometimes with the old, "I'll just get my OH this or I could get him that or I know I'll get him one of these or he'd like one of them" Why? Its nice to treat but if you don't have the money (as I sometimes don't and it should be going to my debts) then don't. Plus he is big enough and daft enough to go get whatever he wants whenever he wants.
It is nice to get a treat ever now and then though;)1vs 100 £505500/335.25 (5.5K COMING DOWN)20.00/10,000(10K GOING UP)Not long now0 -

Thanks elantan.
Todays the day all the really hardwork starts. The transfer has gone through and I now have 16months to pay of £1600, I'm going for £100 a month and hoping for more, if i do that i will manage to have cleared it. 16 months does seem like a bloody long time, but I thought earlier in the year that christmas seemed like a long time and look how time flys......
I have also decided to be as alcohol free as possible haven't put it down on the thread yet but i want to be AF for most of November I am aiming for 20.
I also have a few other targets which i am hoping to do as well.
I owe £600 for a bike to my other half and I would also Like 1000 to be sat in my A/C so the plan is again £100 to each to pay them off asap.
Must have a go at the budget and see if it is possible.......
Could be very tight.
Wish me luck

Just thought I'd update on the goings on, as I have done my mid month disappearing act.
Things are carrying on as they should, plodding along nicely.
I have even done my budget for December, and christmas may not have to be completely cancelled after all. I have set aside all my spends and I think I have everything covered.
I do like this time of year but it is the worst for DFW's its almost like I am running out of time and I have to be soo careful.
I have also come up with a prezzie list.
Mom: Jams and hamper type stuff £10
Dad: DVD £10
Brother: T'Shirt £10
Uncle - not absolutley sure yet £10
Nan: Jams etc £10
OH: Candles/bottle of wine £20
£70 tops. Hoping to come in under this. But I have budgeted this in for next monh.
Roll on January when the madness will be over and I can get focused again on busting. 2010 is going to be my year and I'll be debt free. by this time next year.
